DAY 3 OF 21 — ALL GENERATIONS SHALL CALL HER BLESSED

“From now on all generations will call me blessed.” — Luke 1:48

To honour Mary is profoundly biblical. Mary herself, inspired by the Holy Spirit, proclaimed that generations yet unborn would call her blessed.

More than two thousand years later, Christians across nations, languages and cultures continue to fulfil those words.

We honour Mary not instead of Jesus, but precisely because of Jesus and the extraordinary things God did through her.

Holy Mary, blessed among women, lead us always to your Son.

DAY 2 OF 21 — BLESSED AMONG WOMEN

“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” — Luke 1:42

These were not empty words of praise. Elizabeth spoke them while filled with the Holy Spirit. Scripture itself therefore teaches us to recognise the unique blessedness God bestowed upon Mary.

When Catholics honour Mary, we are not replacing God. We are acknowledging what God Himself accomplished in the woman He chose to be the mother of His Son.

Blessed are you among women, Mother Mary. Pray for us.

21 DAYS WITH MARY

Beginning this Saturday, August 22 — the Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary — I would like to invite you to walk with me on a special 21-day journey with our Mother Mary.

For 21 days, I will share one short reflection each day, accompanied by one of our Marian music videos.
But this will be more than a series about why Catholics love and honour Mary.

I want to share something more personal: why I love her so dearly.

I want us to journey through Scripture and reflect on this extraordinary woman whom God chose to be the Mother of our Lord; the woman who said an unconditional YES to God; the woman who stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross; and the Mother whose enduring instruction to us remains:

“Do whatever He tells you.” — John 2:5
Perhaps you already love our Mother Mary deeply. Perhaps you have questions about why Catholics honour her. Or perhaps you simply wish to experience more deeply the love of a Mother whose entire life points us towards Jesus.

Whichever describes you, please join me.

And I ask you to do one more thing: walk this journey with others. Please repost and share each day’s message and video on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat, and invite your family and friends to join us.
For 21 days, let us learn together. Let us pray together. Let us honour our Mother together.

And above all, let her lead us closer to Jesus.
