2025 In Review
The first year was a blast, and you made it happen! Here are some interesting data about the impact we managed to bring together in the year 2025:
- 101.189 People signed up for all Challenges: the biggest countries poeple participated from were US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Netherlands, France and Germany. In that order.
- There were 10 people who completed at least 10 Challenges: Congratulations!!! We are extremely impressed by your commitment to trying new things
- December Gratitude Challenge was the biggest ons: With 17.360 people joining to journal daily. A close second was April Meditation Challenge with 15.674 that joined.
- 1228 People expressed that they will continue the Sober October Challenge after the Challenge ended. Effectively meaning quitting alcohol altogether,
- The best way to limit mindless scrolling on digital devices, based on our data, is to read around 20 pages of a book daily. The November Readathon Challenge surprisingly was much better (and so much easier) at limiting phone use than the Digital Detox Challenge. Which means that the way to limit phone use is to actually find something else to do.
- The Challenge to bring the biggest impact on Physical & Mental Health was the January Ice Challenge . However it is an extremely an difficult thing to do daily and we believe that probably an ice bath every other day or every 3 days would bring a similar result. Having said thatโฆ.
- The Winner of 2025 Challenges that brought the biggest impact on Physical & Mental Health VS its difficulty was the February Yoga Challenge. And nothing was even close. Just doing 15 minutes of Yoga per day is easy, pleasant, and can find free materials everywhere and it delivers top scores for all the metrics of physical & mental health. So if you ONLY have 15 minutes of time per day to take care of your wellbeing start doing Yoga daily and feel the difference!
So, whatโs next?
https://t.co/qmYxNzIO5S will now be pausing next challenges for a while and transition into a mode of spreading the scientific learnings from the 12 past challenges and data points with the world. That means that the website will change in a way that refocuses on the results and impact and we will work to make that knowledge available to as many people as we can for free.
