Whenever I discuss football on here with British Men™️ they always tell me to support my local team and not Liverpool whenever they run out of arguments.
So, which one of these three teams is local enough to satisfy you lot;
@Goldknight1@GabbyOnlyX@TouchlineX Accepting people’s differences and not following a made up book written thousands of years ago is usually a recipe for a progressive society yes!
@lntricateRitual I literally downloaded an extension to my browser in 2011 to block Torres’s name so I missed out on everything concerning him for literally 15 years 😭
@juveenthutiast1@GabbyOnlyX@TouchlineX I mean I might have over reacted but as a queer fan of football you DO encounter SO much homophobia all the damn time, you’re sort of always on guard
@juveenthutiast1@GabbyOnlyX@TouchlineX The last two points I can see actually! I feel like no one is freaking out for those reasons though; for most people it seems to be “ew two men kissing!! Gross!”
@steven_hallmark At least Alexander Isak seems decent, his views seem to align pretty much with those of left wing young Swedes imo, as someone who’s also a young(ish) left wing Swede
🚨 Jonjo Shelvey has opened up on his reasons for leaving the UK:
"I don't want my children growing up in England anymore"
"I'd never wear a watch in London. You can't have your phone out in London"
"I see people getting arrested for tweeting and, then, all of the flags and taking back the country. I'll get myself into trouble if I carry on, but I just feel that the UK isn't what it was 10 to 15 years ago."
