Both parents knew Nisha and Pavi are the Avatars. The flashback shows them bending different elements. First flashback is them playing catch with a waterball. Then playing hide and seek while airbending and airjumping on their bed. So, there is no way the parents never saw them bend other elements.
Saumya and Pramodh not being in the brigade leaves me to believe they are nonbenders.
🤔
@Kingsleykeecee this doesnt really make sense worldbuilding wise. would it really take 9 years to tear apart entire nations, establish new havens that have different cultures within them, brainwash the entire world into thinking the avatar is a horrible entity that is a curse to this world......
@bejweledbabylon Woahhhhh... That would be interesting 👀 I was thinking a cult like the dai li but if the empress herself is sinister!!? that too for an airbender!! ahhhhhh
@_NTSurge_ trueeeee... and because of this format, it also felt like the show lasted for a good amount of time. Or else it would've gotten over in a single day 😭
@bejweledbabylon I think she and people of Feather Mountain believe that Korra must have died while being in the avatar state "causing" the cataclysm. And since we don't know if there was a long gap between Korra's death and the avatars reborn, that could've also contributed to that belief.
AVATAR WAN — The man who started it all. He had to carry the burden of fixing a world he helped throw into chaos, knowing his responsibility would never truly end.
AVATAR KURUK — Often remembered as a careless Avatar, but he was secretly fighting dark spirits and sacrificing pieces of himself to protect a world that barely understood what he was going through.
AVATAR KYOSHI — An unwanted child who grew up without knowing her identity, was treated as disposable and had to fight her way into a world that never made room for her.
AVATAR AANG — Lost his entire culture, woke up a hundred years later to discover his people were extinct, and had to save a world while still being a twelve-year-old boy.
AVATAR KORRA — Raised to be the Avatar, yet constantly hunted, manipulated, poisoned and broken by enemies who wanted to use her position against her. She lost her connection to her past lives and had to rebuild herself from nothing.
PAVI — A nine-year-old disabled girl who was left to survive in the wilderness after a devastating injury. She had to teach herself all four elements, survive alone and somehow discover what being the Avatar meant without anyone guiding her.
NISHA — Imagine being one of two children carrying the Avatar’s burden, growing up with missing pieces of your own identity and having to figure out who you really are while the entire world expects you to be something extraordinary.
Seven Avatars. Seven completely different struggles.
Whose life would you NEVER want to live, even if it meant becoming the Avatar?
