@biral_r@MenchOsint Patriots are already built in Europe by European companies. Puting a fake Ukrainian label to the company (it will be using EU funds) doesn't change anything.
So companies release more capable AI models (as expected, they have more compute available for training and scaling is still working) and all the childish AI doomers are back hyperventilating like it's 2020.
@DKokotajlo@thlarsen@romeovdean@eli_lifland It's 2026. I would expect much better fanfic now we have so much AI powered 'intelligence' at hand to write it. But all I see is AGI bullshit pamphlets becoming increasingly more childish than in 2020.
@akarlin@woke8yearold And that's why broke fundamentalist Iran is playing around with the mighty AI powered US. Clearly AI paired with military might triumphs (/s) in the age of cheap ballistics and drones (ponder the effect of unlimited tactical nuclear warheads when everyone goes crazy).
@akarlin@woke8yearold These recurrent manifests about funding some SV pet alignment/safety startup/idea are becoming increasingly childish as LLMs gain more capabilities rather than becoming more enlightened. They clearly don't spell super-intelligence.
@akarlin@woke8yearold If there is no scarcity monetary accounting would be meaningless anyway. What would happen is that product prices of anything that can be overproduced would crash to almost zero. Massive deflation. UBI to zero.
@pplsartofwar If you count the whole world literacy is still increasing. However in 'the west' clearly it reached a peak at some point and with the increase of (dis)information the effectiveness of 'classic literacy' has clearly dismissed. Classic literacy != intelligence anyway.
@pplsartofwar Entertainment? The Democratic 'opposition' doesn't even pretends to attempt to confront Trump open corruption or foolinesh because it is basically aligned in everything he (or his 'clan') does. From Iran to market manipulation they are part of show.
@Pataramesh The 'MoU enabling puppet states' are full on the side of the US against Iran (though they may not like Trump's chaotic handling of the matter). If Iran fully breaks with the MoU and attacks Saudi and Emirati oil it's implicit they will support both against Iran.
@agitpapa NATO expending $140B to burn with absolute impunity Russian oil infrastructure and other strategic assets looks cheaps to me. NATO objective is destroying Russia as a viable state and to fed the US MIC, not 'rearming' by itself.
@jukan05 PFLOPS are easy and should be cheap. TB/s of memory BW and communication BW aren't easy nor cheap. NVidia is selling PFLOPS but what real matters are the other two. And one of the two isn't produced by NVidia.
@pplsartofwar If it becomes clear you aren't going to use the nukes (burn to the ground the oil infrastructure around the Gulf) you don't have deterrence. Iran just let out millions of barrels of oil to help the US and world economy for an unknown money payment to unknown entities inside Iran.
@paulmarin90@pplsartofwar If they don't dig into Lebanon the current crop of back stabbing corrupt 'moderates' that performs in the negotiation circus will be slaughtered by the hardliners. Lebanon isn't an external component but a key internal element of Iran politics.
