I've been trying to find little spots of nature where I can within my own state's borders.

This little hike got us to the bottom of the falls and away from all the crowds. Even better was it was a soft trial and we got to go barefoot!

It can be hard to find trail partners who love hiking in the rain, especially when the summit is full of fog.

I love having the chance to get out on the trail when the rain keeps everyone away, and love the sound of hiking during a rainstorm even more.
