Keir Starmer isn’t handing Chagos to Mauritius because he’s weak. He’s doing it because Britain’s claim is illegal.The UK cut the islands off Mauritius in 1965, expelled the people, and ignored UN + ICJ rulings for decades.
That’s colonial theft, not sovereignty..
