If you work 8 hours for someone else,
give yourself at least 2 hours.
Use those 2 hours to learn:
- Writing
- Branding
- Marketing
- Productization
Every skill you learn
reduces your dependence on a boss.
In summary. In my own perspective:
Start a personal project.
The same people who say, "I don't like reading," have no problem reading 300 comments under a viral post.
You don't hate reading.
You hate reading things that challenge you.
People who avoid reading often avoid responsibility too. Because both require focus.
For many people, these ideas are like the ones their parents, friends, and the people in the society have.
Your programming is a network of hardwired assumptions and expectations of the world.
Don't buy into the myth that you are:
- Too old
- Too busy
- Too dumb
- Too small
Labels.
They're everywhere.
The more you have, the more constrained you can be.
Only limitation is your mind.
Conquer that and nothing else matters.

Start with the basics and build
from there:
- Read books that interest you
- Practice your skills daily
- Share your work with others
Learn from your mistakes
Small steps lead to big growth
over time.
The biggest risk is looking back at 40 and wondering what if you’d just
- Bet on yourself
- Posted the tweet
- Recorded the video
- Approached the girl
- Started the podcast
- Wrote the newsletter
- Chased your potential
- Moved across the world
- Said “fuck it” and went all in
It is not sufficient to learn.
It is not sufficient to consume information.
Build a small project that solves a problem.
Build a business.
Expose yourself to the world of freedom.
Control what enters your mind.
Read more. Consume less. Produce more. React less. Focus intensely on one thing. Zoom out and let go of everything. Train. Recover.
Your mind is the operating system for reality. If you don't program it, others will, and that never ends well.
