@Srbtopija Soviet aid was purely a matter of shared geopolitical interests. While Atatürk was accepting that aid, she was simultaneously purging the communists within the country; in other words, no ideological concessions were made.

@Srbtopija The Soviets didn't help the Turks for no reason; They helped us so that we would adopt communist ideology. But the great Atatürk both accepted their help and didn't give them what they wanted. Also, Ataturk has a lot of anti-communist words.
