Wellβ¦ R3X π¦ met a deer tonight at about 50 mph. FSD saw it and started slowing, but not aggressively enough. By the time I took over and got hard on the brakes, there simply wasnβt enough distance left. Impact felt shockingly mild from inside the truck. No airbags, Iβm completely okay, and R3X drove away under its own power. The truck needs some love now: driver-side light, front bumper/fascia and dented front frunk stainless. ππ¦ Two animals and one truck in one week was definitely NOT on my bingo card. π
@MorningTesla honestly if it were any other vehicle I feel like airbags would have deployed and the front end would have been totalled.
the cybertruck is an absolute monster π¦
NEW AERIAL TOUR: SHASTA LAKE FROM ABOVE π
Tonight weβre flying over the Pit River arm of Californiaβs largest reservoir, following the winding shoreline toward the massive Pit River Bridge, where I-5 crosses directly above the railroad below.
From the ground, you see a lake. From the air, you can still see the old river valleys that shaped this landscape long before the reservoir existed.

Well, hello, this is your captain speaking. Weβve officially reached our cruising altitude of 7000 feet. With it being such a short flight, weβve asked our flight attendants to remain seated
Itβs official. I definitely gave too much credit to the Jeep brand in thinking that their autonomous vehicle program has advanced. Turns out itβs just a new old trick, tow mode.
@_SalmanTahir@chrisdavison18 I feel like the damage from frontal though is going to be cheaper than replacing the side panels from a side swipe.
And yes FSD felt like it was going to slip between them there wasnβt room
