@jchybow It's weird because the auto park feature (tap on a spot on the screen while driving manually) stops exactly how it should in the spot (sometimes works harder than it needs to to get there) but the auto park baked within FSD 14.2 LITE is pretty bad. (fast, but incaccurate)
I could not disagree more. Those are not “gaping holes” left because New York was too weak or incompetent to rebuild. They are the actual footprints of the Twin Towers, deliberately kept open as hallowed ground.
We understand this instinct elsewhere. We did not raise the USS Arizona from Pearl Harbor, polish away the scars, and pretend nothing happened. Some places are allowed to bear witness.
The World Trade Center was rebuilt. But where thousands of human beings entered those towers one morning and never came home, we chose something different: absence itself.
The water falls into a void that can never be filled. The names of the dead surround it. You stand where the towers stood and confront what was taken from us.
That is not weakness. That is remembrance.
@SDembraski Went several miles where the car said 0% once. Made it to the supercharger, the handle I pulled up to was plugged with ice. Tried to move to another post, car wouldn’t let me shift into drive. Got the plug cleared of ice and charged. Closest call, 5.5yrs.
@TeslaPatriot@SawyerMerritt@Tesla It takes over if you're driving manually but requires that FSD is enabled in the settings as opposed to having it disabled and using TACC or whatever the "free" version is these days.
@itskyleconner@tijmenschreur I had that same opinion after the first few weeks or so of 14 lite. But, now it’s gotten good enough I’m back to enjoying self driving. It’s defo not perfect though.
@alojohhardcore@Robyn3rfw@fib618nyc Also, I’m only seeing your posts in the app, no replies such as this reply I just replied to. I have “All” selected so should be getting posts, replies, quotes, etc.
@IowaTesla@evpunker LOL. The question was - is it the plan to specifically have a set of dedicated winter tires, that would be swapped out for all season/summer tires each year.
@alojohhardcore@stevenleebeyer1 You can even see a clear pattern in chess ELO ratings. When anyone achieves a new high mark ELO of a round number (i.e. 1600, 1800, 2000 etc) the progress graph changes noticeably. People don't want to lose that milestone number right away.
