The Pixel Game Guy

Modern - Retro Gamer | Physical Media Collector | RPGs, Metroidvania, Action- Adventure, Occasional Souls | Heart over Hate, Positive over Negative.

[The Pixel Game Guy @thepixelgameguy]

Welcome to my page! I am new to this space, as you can probably tell if you've stumbled upon my profile.

I am a veteran gamer who has a soft spot for retro gaming and pixelated graphics. I also play current titles if they give off a retro feel (e.g., The Adventures of Elliot) or are related to some of my all-time favorite franchises (e.g., Castlevania and Belmont's Curse).

I prefer physical media over digital. Games that don't require a download.

On the retro side of things, I currently own an Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, PlayStation 1, Wii, and GameCube.

On the current side, I own an Xbox Series X for newer titles. I took a risk and decided to wait for a Switch 2 Zelda system, but unfortunately lost out by not getting in on the preorders. So, I'll likely pick up a regular Switch 2 shortly.

Hope to chat with you soon!

Has been a bit since I last played a Soulslike game. But this one has been on my radar. Coming out this upcoming week I might need to purchase.

One year ago, we held a public playtest because we trusted your feedback to build a game unlike any other.

Today, we reveal our Launch Trailer and we've become one of the most anticipated titles of the busiest gaming calendar ever.

To all our players, THANK YOU!

@heidiohlander The box seems to be in good shape but the price is high. If I had a need for the box to complete the set maybe $50

@dyhptg I was really impressed with the demo. The series was great before but was in much need of a reboot

@animathias They sure do, not in a bad way just different. Graphics took presidents over gameplay in a lot of cases.

@hofnpopper This was one of the best games I have ever played on the PS1. It is the one and only Metal Gear game I have beaten

[The Pixel Game Guy @thepixelgameguy]

@heyclairelin @elonmusk It can be done is just takes a lot of work. I know a guy who has like 57k followers on here and he said he gets about $60 to $100 per month.
