Let it out. Move it through. Sit with all the feelings, and then find the time to connect with your lover and share.
Most of the time we don’t even need a response back we just need to let it out, our mind is so good at making up stories.
When we make intentional time to share consistently with our lovers, the love stays aligned, pure, and has an ease to it even when challenges arise.
What’s holding you back?

Are You Setting Yourself Up for Failure?
My mom told me how she was so upset because this new guy she started seeing didn't call her for 2 weeks before their date.
"Huh. So, what happened," I asked with curiosity.
"He's an old flame, we reconnected and went out a few times it was hot and then not. And I kinda told him off," she replied.
They texted every day for three months during which they met frequently and had sex many times, which wasn't satisfying or fulfilling. She wasn't ready to be in a relationship and pumped the breaks.
Eventually, they reconnected again, only for the history to repeat itself.
" We started talking again and I invited him over. He didn't text for a couple of weeks and our date was the following week. So of course, I'm upset, I don't want to be with a man who does not respond or check in and goes radio silent for weeks up to our date."
I asked if she tried reaching out to him, and she said she was kind of testing him.
When we “test” our partners or new lovers - we are setting ourselves up for failure.
We assume our lovers should know exactly what we want, how we want to be touched, loved, seen, and communicated with, and if they don't then they are assholes. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
We must be able to speak up for ourselves- let our lovers, friends, and family know what we need. We are all wired differently. No one should be responsible for knowing exactly how to please everyone else.
Intimacy is cultivated when we can share those parts. In this case, my mom wanted more, she wanted to be seen and communicated with. This guy didn't know how to show up for her, maybe he wanted something else or maybe he deeply wanted to satisfy her every desire and take care of her - but didn't know how.
When we "test" others, and hope they show up the way we want especially after they disappointed us the first time- we are perpetuating wounds and pains that are our own stories and projecting them onto something that has the potential to be exactly what we want.
I took this photo in the heat of summer. I was feeling alive full and hungry for love. Figs are such a representation of the absolute devourment of pleasure.
When I pick one from the tree the liquid milk spills from the stem. Such a pretty opaque white and creaminess.
As I touch the skin soft and plump on my fingertips I feel close to my own body and softness.
As I open it sweetly she reveals her many shades of pink, brown, deep red, and all the variations of texture.
As she touches my lips her mild sweetness to overpowering candied center takes me on a journey.
Now as it's the beginning of fall I feel a bit different sort of inward expectation as the seasons change and so may my desire.
But now I am reminded about the pomegranate just coming into her fullness on the trees.
I am reminded that nature so beautifully flaunts her ripeness and holds back not from being devoured.
