the genius of snl’s “world’s most evil invention” is that everyone enters a contest to see who can be the most evil, but nobody seems prepared for someone who takes the assignment literally.

the other scientists bring exaggerated comic-book weapons. then dwayne johnson’s character presents an invention that completely changes the atmosphere in the room.

the joke isn’t simply that his idea is shocking. it’s that everyone else suddenly discovers they had an unspoken limit to what “evil” was supposed to mean.

Tesla has the best self driving tho and some of the designs are great. But the latter is no longer unique to Tesla EVs. But that’s it.
