IIT → IIM → IAS — and you still had the courage to say “but it never taught me how to be happy.” That honesty from someone with your credentials means more than any motivational book ever could.
The line that stayed with me: “Discipline is simply the habit of keeping promises to yourself.”
Simple. Devastating. True.
We are a generation that was trained to perform, not to feel. To achieve, not to heal. And you’ve named every gap so beautifully — from emotional regulation to knowing yourself.
Thank you for writing this so honestly and so well. The world needs more voices like yours speaking on things that truly matter. 💙
Nobody talks about this:
The Governor of a state is appointed by the Centre.
Not elected by the people of that state.
An unelected person can dismiss an elected government.
Tell me is that not a design flaw.
🔥 5 state elections. Results on May 4.
But here’s what most people don’t know about what happens AFTER the results:
The Governor has to invite the “single largest party” to form the govt — right?
Wrong.
The Constitution says the Governor invites whoever commands majority confidence.
This distinction has caused 3 constitutional crises in the last decade alone:
→ Goa 2017
→ Karnataka 2018
→ Maharashtra 2019
Article 164 gives Governors discretion — and courts have struggled to control it.
With West Bengal, Kerala & Tamil Nadu results in 3 days — this is the most important constitutional clause you need to understand.

A democracy doesn’t collapse overnight.
It erodes slowly—
when questions are discouraged,
institutions are weakened,
and citizens stop demanding accountability.
Power is not the real test.
Accountability is.
India’s future depends on which one we protect.

“Can the Government bypass Parliament? 🤔”
Under Article 123 of the Indian Constitution, the President can issue an Ordinance when Parliament is not in session.
But here’s the reality:
• It has the same force as law
• It must be approved within 6 weeks of reassembly
• It cannot be used as a shortcut for regular lawmaking
📌 Frequent use raises serious concerns about parliamentary accountability
Ordinances are for urgency—not convenience.
