https://t.co/4NUtCXpnak is an open source project determined to create a better CFB ranking model.
If you've been experimenting with using AI on cool sh*t then "fork the repo" and join us!

Love this! However, I do believe that we will continue to see the trend of Coordinator/HC as CFB trends to look more like the NFL. Gate 2 will fall eventually, and the 7 teams in that group may have a shot, especially if paired with another emerging trend: Former HCs as a coordinator (e.g. Chip Kelly), 7 of the 11 had that feature.
There will be 3 types of people in the future:
The Purists - reject AI and become new-age hippies
The Automatons - outsource every decision and become machines
The New Renaissance Man - maintains humanity and leverages tech to do what used to be impossible
We have the Canes at pre-season #6.
The model gives Miami 66 percent or better in ten of its twelve games.
The two that are not: at Clemson, 59, and at Notre Dame, 35.
Which of the two decides their season?
@Top25PublicHSFB@NFHSNetwork Schools need to stream themselves using their Hudl stream. Most schools have it as part of their Hudl subscription and don’t even realize it.
Our model projects the Hoosiers at #3.
The model favors Indiana in all twelve games and still says 9-3, because a 75 percent favorite can lose one week in four.
Where might the three losses come from?
@RBuckeyeOSUFan tOSU wins it all but drops the regular season game to the Hoosiers.
Honestly great takes across the board for your B1G hot takes.

Our projection has tOSU at #1.
The four tOSU games the model is least sure of are all on the road, and the only one the model calls a loss is at Indiana with a 42 percent chance.
@BarstoolOSU Which road trip worries you most?
@CollegeFBonX Actually a tough one:
Of the field of 4 & who has a shot:
A: 50%
B. 25%
C. 0%
D. 25%
But it’s going to be tOSU, so I guess I’ll go with B.
@Top25PublicHSFB Interesting debate.
Our entire thesis is that AI can create a better model for the polls than any human.
But, after the model runs the insights come from people, then ‘the machine’ makes the graphics.
Humans + AI will be the way forevermore.
Our projection has the Ducks at #2.
Only one game on Oregon's card is anywhere near a coin flip: at USC with 48 percent odds.
Set aside the trip to Ohio State and the other ten are all 61 percent or better.
@BarstoolDucks Does that look right?
