[After a pause the girl said, 'I'm Robin Vote.'
She looked about her distractedly. 'I don't want to be here.'
But it was all she said; she did not explain where she wished to be.]

ROBIN VOTE ||| SINNER โ 36๐
@theinterfereing I don't know her, but... I also can't reject a request from you.
[Robin's smile regains some of its usual warmth and charm, now idly toying with a lock of Penelope's hair.]
You don't need to worry about a thing, Peny. I'll... I'll find her, and tell her whatever you wish.
@theinterfereing [Robin blinks, noncomprehending but unwilling to deny Penelope anything when she's been brought to such a state.]
Of course. Ah, I'll... let her know. Just lay your head down and rest, Penelope.
[Her hand runs through the woman's hair, caring for it with a solemn tenderness.]
@theinterfereing Paler than usual!?
[She lets out a strained little laugh. Robin's a bit breathless herself, but visibly eases as Peny's hand brushes through her short, messy locks, leaning into the touch as her voice grows softer.]
Of course, anything you need- I'm here.
@theinterfereing [Robin can't contain her sigh of relief- her whole body relaxes, and she presses her brow to Penelope's instead of replying with words. Her eyes are closed, grasp tightening around the harried woman. As though she can't bear to let her out of her arms in these tense moments.]
@the_exhuming Well, I can't turn down such a kind invitation from you.
[Robin slipped in beside her, tall figure costrained as she met Carmilla's eyes with a warm smirk upon her lips.]
And now both of our nights become less lonesome. How wonderful.
// peny got me rereading some passages and this really one of the most beautiful confessions there is. the desperation to keep robin there by saying how much she needs her... for naught.. beautiful stuff
@theinterfereing Robin starts a bit at the touch, blinking and refocusing on Peny.
"Ah, well... you're already helping quite a bit."
Her hand lifts, grasping Penelope's hand in her own, savoring the gentle warmth- her expression eases and some of that exhaustion seems to seep away.
@theinterfereing "Ah... some days the weight of the City simply weighs heavier. I do feel rather... picked clean, Penelope."
Robin's smile takes on a more worn tone as she joins Peny in leaning against the bar. A soft sigh slips free.
@theinterfereing Robin seems to bask in the slightest touch, leaning into it, meeting Penelope's eyes- expression unwavering.
"I have... a woman who can't deny me, don't I?"
Her voice is soft, tempered; She's tensed with some barely contained desire. A flicker of heat flashing across her eyes.
@theinterfereing So, shall the two of us stop being lonely together, for a time? What say you, dear Penelope?"
Robin leans into Peny's space, her stance shifting to one even more earnest and laid bare. A sort of subtle jealousy, tied with an earnest desire for company, clear upon her face.
@theinterfereing She stiffens at the teasing tone, a light flush dusting her cheeks.
"It's not pitiful to be lonely. And, well- I've never doubted in your charms, either. But I must admit I don't think much of a confession that leaves a lovely woman burdened by heavy thoughts alone at a bar.
@theinterfereing "I find lonely women terribly sad. It's a tragic thing, to be alone and suffer without company. So- I at least can offer a shoulder to cry upon. Surely a knight could do more, hm?" She tries to put a more lighthearted expression on her face, embarrassed at what she let slip.
@theinterfereing "Me? Knightly?" Robin can't keep a surprised snort from slipping free, shaking her head. "No, nothing of the sort! I don't have any sort of code or purpose guiding me, I just..." She pauses for a moment, her voice grows softer, more earnest.
@theinterfereing It's a bar, let's just knock back some drinks and take enjoy some good company, hm? We'll get some of the fluff out of you no matter how much liquor it takes. I can't let a lovely lady wallow in such a state. It would break my heart."
Robin grants Peny a soft, encouraging smile.
@theinterfereing Robin's posture relaxes, an ease in her every motion as she ponders the state Penelope's gotten herself into. A chivalric chord rings in her heart, and she can't resist the urge to ease her burdens. She leans in, her tone supportive and firm.
"Then let's not speak on work-
