Our Music Fellow Baker Purdon has been busy attending performances!

Recently, he attended @LancSymphony's performance of Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez feat. guitarist Colin Davin. The concert also included Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor & Mendelssohn's Fifth Symphony.

Today, ED Teresa Rodgers participated in the Youth Non-Profit Symposium, put together by Councilman Oh. The Symposium gives nonprofits focused on youth the opportunity to meet funders.

1/ For Undergraduate Scholar Award recipient Kevin Lopez, music "allow(s) me to express myself and give me an outlet where I felt successful."

His passion led him to pursue a music ed degree at @txwomans; in the future, he wants to "change the lives of students through music."
