Nicki Minaj is facing a potential court-ordered sale of her multimillion-dollar Hidden Hills home after a former security guard filed a motion asking a Los Angeles judge to authorize the sale to satisfy an unpaid assault judgment.

The Filing
On October 6, 2025, attorney Paul A. Saso of Pfister & Saso LLP (New York) filed a motion in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of plaintiff Thomas Weidenmüller, seeking an order under California Code of Civil Procedure §704.740 to sell Minaj’s residence in the upscale Hidden Hills community.

The motion is scheduled for hearing on November 20, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., before Judge Cindy Pánuco in Department 27 of the Spring Street Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.

Background of the Case
The filing stems from a $503,318.02 judgment awarded to Weidenmüller on March 22, 2024. The former security guard alleged that he was assaulted backstage at one of Minaj’s concerts in Germany, claiming the incident was “instigated by Minaj and carried out by her now-husband, Kenneth Petty.”
The attack, according to court records, left Weidenmüller with a fractured jaw that required multiple reconstructive surgeries and forced him out of work for several months.

Attempts to Collect
After securing the judgment, Weidenmüller filed an abstract of judgment with the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office on July 19, 2024, creating a lien against Minaj’s property. A writ of execution was issued on September 13, 2024, and later renewed on April 11, 2025.

Despite these efforts, the motion states, Minaj has not paid any portion of the judgment. The plaintiff’s legal team reportedly served levies on seven of Minaj’s suspected creditors, none of which resulted in funds being recovered.

The Property
Court documents confirm that Minaj purchased the Hidden Hills mansion in late 2022 for approximately $19.5 million. The property was deeded to Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, “a married woman, as her sole and separate property.”

Financial Breakdown
The motion lists the following financial details:
Fair market value: Approximately $20.3 million (per Los Angeles County Tax Assessor)
Mortgage lien: $13,258,000 (Bank of America)
Homestead exemption: $722,151
Estimated equity beyond liens/exemptions: Around $6 million

No additional liens or homeowner exemptions were found on the property.
