where guide oligonucleotides are used to recruit endogenous ADARs to correct disease-causing mutations in the transcript. This study lays the groundwork for the design of potent and specific modulators of ADAR1.
@xewilcox I’m so sorry, Xander. You are one of the most passionate researchers I know, and it’s just sad not to see you continue. But I think that there’s no need to rush to get back. You’ve been through a lot and you should take your time to recuperate and come back even stronger.

And there’s my pink Cy3-labeled oligo that I synthesized and posted about a while ago! These are actually brain cells that I transfected, stained, and viewed under a fluorescence microscope. My oligos are the pink dots against the green (cytoplasm) and blue (nucleus) background.
