Racing world - we’re finally here.
We’ve been talking about doing this for years. Two brothers with near two decades of skin in the game and a process we’ve built over time: watch the races, trust our eyes, and stay disciplined.
No noise. No hype. Just honest notes.
If you’re here for shortcuts, you’re in the wrong place. If you’re here for the work, welcome aboard.

Good luck with whatever your selections are today!
A write up for this selection:
Ran a decent race last time at Thirsk over 8f when attempting to make all and weakened inside the final furlong.
That wouldn’t have suited as he’s done a lot of his running and all of his winning over 7f. Dropped 2lbs for the run to a mark of 59 and is now 1lbs lower than last winning mark and only 2lbs higher than when he won this same race last year.
This looks a fairly competitive race for the grade but we’re hoping the drop down to his preferred 7f, the easing mark and a C&D winner having his first start for Ivan Furtado can all bring about the improvement required to take this. Hopeful of a good run.
Get in! Moonfall with an impressive display to win the Britannia.
Travelled powerfully into the race, went clear when asked and always had enough in hand at the line.
Posted up at 10/1 and that’s 15pts up over two days with hopefully more to come. Top stuff!
Quick update on the numbers:
55 selections
67.75pts staked
80.59pts returned.
12.84pts profit
18.95% ROI
We’d normally have far more than 55 selections by this stage but we’re committed to doing things the right way; no overnight prices, no chasing steam and waiting until 8am or later before putting anything up.
Early days but the signs are really positive and the approach feels solid.
9/1 double landed today!
Blue Bolt and Ombudsman both win emphatically, great to see the value rewarded. We stay selective disciplined and keep looking for the right opportunities. Onwards.
No official bets for Day 1 at Ascot but here’s some selections of interest:
2:30 - Opera Ballo
3:05 - Night In Vegas/Ruler’s Pride
3:40 - Rayevka/American Affair
4:20 - Bow Echo
5:00 - Putyourhandstogether/Bunting
5:35 - Map Of Stars/Enfjaar
6:10 - Daiquiri Bay/Sing Us A Song
Ah disappointing today! Commander Of Life rears up as the gates open and stays on for fourth but his race was essentially over once the stalls opened.
Should make him an interesting proposition next time out if meeting similar conditions.
Jenever put in a tame effort and didn’t see out the 7f, a step back down should show him in a better light.
