Are BJP Leaders and Karyakartas Too Tired of Victories? इतना सन्नाटा क्यों है भाई,
Despite winning the elections, the NDA and BJP are holding review meetings (Samiksha Baithaks). Meanwhile, Congress, with winning 99 MPs, is in a celebratory mood!
Is this because of the high expectations of BJP and the low aspirations of Congress?
Or is some kind of death wish gripping some BJP leaders and karyakartas? Are they tired of victories?
How can we forget that the Congress celebrated their 145-seat win in 2004 and 206 seats in 2009, forming the government under Manmohan Singh both times.
(145 सीट जीतने पर कांग्रेस ने 2004 देश भर में ढोल-ताशे बजाए थे। होली मनाई थी। आपको याद है न?)
Janata Dal celebrated winning 43 seats in 1996, with Deve Gowda becoming PM. Vajpayee became PM with 182 seats.
VP Singh became PM with 143 seats, leading jubilant celebrations with the slogan “Raja nahi fakir hai, desh ki taqdeer hai.”
The BJP’s muted response is puzzling, as they seem to mourn a victory.
