@PeteSampson_ Have to think the delay in Freeman’s new deal had to involve adjustments to transfer portal admissions strategy going forward. “The school backed football” is spot on.
@AriWasserman They could have made their case against Alabama, instead of targeting only ND. Because I believe it’s obvious, had UVA beaten Duke, Miami’s campaign against ND would have been unsuccessful.
@_SVPod Bro “what you know” is that in August Miami won a home game by 3 points against a team with a first time starting QB and first game with new DC. That should trump what your eyes and brain make apparent on Dec 7th?
@ChrisVannini Notable: Everyone knows ND came up against ACC and SEC powers and lost-yet very few are saying the quiet part out loud-because real journalism no longer exists. Narrative farming has replaced actual reporting.
@BrooksAustinBA Have been surprised that most of my SEC friends reactions today has been “ND got screwed and everyone knows what happened” my Tenn friends blame Bama and my Bama friends blame Miami/ACC. My Georgia friends are glad to see them out, but agree they got hosed.
@BrooksAustinBA Crazy as it sounds I’m not 💯 sure that’s true. I live in SEC country and I have noticed an uptick in that mentality especially since Freeman’s arrival.
@PeteSampson_ safe to say, if we get JMU in this playoff, it’s because Miami had a chance to play for and win their conference championship, but instead lost to two teams who also didn’t even play for that conference championship?
@timprister speaking of Louisville and SMU… if we get James Madison in the playoff, it’s because Miami had a chance to play in and win their conference championship. They did not because they lost to those teams, who were also not playing yesterday.
@timprister Clearly not the same teams who began the season. Both changed throughout. Miami lost to considerably weaker teams than ND. ND-according to metrics & those who have eyes to see-belongs. Does Miami? Not if there’s only one spot. You have every right to be wrong.
@slmandel Might be a good time to stop. Think. And consider the purpose of a resume. You’re not helping your case at all. But you’re getting attention, so good on you.
@BrooksAustinBA@NDFootball@Marcus_Freeman1@irishbreakdown1@Fighting_Irish7 This is why they are ranked where they are. In fact, I would imagine the CFP Committee would like to rank them higher. Last year the Bama’s and Ole Miss’s wanted rankings based on Vegas and Eye Tests, this year not so much!
@timomalleyND Does OC and TE Coach Mike Denbrock put his position group through footwork/sideline drills? Spacial awareness. Hurdling first defender who often goes low on TE/FBs? If not will he begin doing so now? Likely cost himself 2 TDs on Saturday.
