This is honestly a good point. Therapy is not just good for the person in therapy, but also for the larger community. Maybe increasing access to therapy should be a larger societal priority... #TherapyHelped https://t.co/wG4pUGm3cI
My therapist says shame is an acronym for

I started therapy over 3 years ago because Im a learning, growing, changing, occasional mess who’s lucky enough to get help. Youre a google away from finding affordable counseling in your town. https://t.co/jARFautkfZ
When I was figuring out my trans identity, #TherapyHelped. When I was going through a complicated break up, therapy helped. I’ve been going to therapy 2x/week for 8 years because it helps. There is no shame in having a support system to work through the tougher things in life.
#TherapyHelped me be a better #actor, #wife, #daughter and #friend. It also helps me live a happier and healthier life. If you need help there are so many services out there. Please reach out and just ask.
Looking after your mental health is JUST as important as looking after your physical heath... sometimes more so, as MH struggles can manifest themselves in physical symptoms. NEVER be ashamed. #TherapyHelped me not drop out of uni in final year (and for a long time after that)💛 https://t.co/EGQy9kgIPn
Thank you for mentioning this. Many people report it helps to have a therapist with similar demographics to them. POC/white, men/women, LGBT, etc. There's nothing wrong with that. #TherapyHelped https://t.co/oD6YsQuKMD

Reading through the #TherapyHelped hashtag it's so clear -- Therapy has helped people with both traumatic and everyday issues, and everything in between. How has #TherapyHelped you?
#TherapyHelped me find the tools to combat the voices that said I'll never be good enough. A simple "that's not true" to the meanness in me has done wonders.
Because this is important to me I would like to share: #TherapyHelped me through the most terrifying episode of my life: a cancer diagnosis and then treatment. And from the heels of that, it’s helping me through the traumatic loss of my Dad. Thank god for my therapist!
Therapy helped me sort out my priorities and get comfortable with- even enjoy!- being myself. It's helped to free me from chasing a panicky conglomeration of other people's ideals and expectations. I still struggle, but I'm getting there. #TherapyHelped
