It’s him.
He remembers me. Says “You’re the one who tipped me when it was raining and you had nothing. Let me grab you a charger.”
Walks to the shop, buys me a $25 power bank, refuses to let me pay him back.
Says: “That $2 kept me going that night. My turn.”
You never know which small thing someone’s carrying for years.
Be kind when it costs you something. That’s when it actually counts.
Don’t think he forgot at all… think he’s great at his job. He observed the scene, took mental notes, perceived no threat as the crowd was contained and he walked out first with her behind him and then as they make way through the door he’ get closer. Seems professional to me
@RaeRenee731 Listen, I’m all for that and will roll with it if need be but NOTHING beats a good lay in bed and watch TV session. It’s close to heaven tbh
A person who lies to themselves (and others) is not going to accept the ways they've hurt you. I'm not telling you not to heal that hurt anyway. I'm telling you, involving them in your healing process is likely going to give you more to heal from.
