Great to welcome Gary Waltham, Chief Executive of @theRCOT, back to our Trust!
After his earlier visit with HRH The Princess Royal in Peterborough, Gary joined us at Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge—meeting colleagues and seeing the incredible impact of our inpatient OTs 👏
@AvrilDrummond1@BBCr4today We have spoken to Sir Charlie about and met with his team last week about how OTs can support this agenda.
Please join the Work and Health Network on the RCOT Communities Platform for more on this discussion.

We're slowly stepping away from X. We’ll be winding down our activity over the next few months and will stop completely by the end of July.
Thanks for being part of our journey here 💚
We’re still championing OT – just on other platforms.

Artwork made at our Stroke and Neurosciences Art Group has gone on display in our hospital.
The group is held on our Stroke and Neurosciences wards every Wednesday and is led by an Occupational Therapist (OT), an OT assistant and a regular hospital volunteer.
@DaveDaoggio@UKFCOT We ran a competitive and inclusive recruitment process with clear criteria for the role and encouraged applications from anyone who met those criteria, including occupational therapists.
🎉 Happy 77th birthday to the NHS!
We’re proud to celebrate the occupational therapists and support workers who are part of what makes it so special – helping people stay healthy and live fulfilled lives. 💚
We’re delighted to announce Gary Waltham as our new Chief Executive, joining us in the new year.
With over 20 years of experience in health leadership, we're confident Gary will help us continue to deliver for our members and champion our profession: https://t.co/h9rqafDBlp

#DisabilityPrideMonth is a time to recognise, honour and celebrate the achievements and identities of disabled people.
It’s also a moment to deepen understanding, amplify voices and champion inclusion.
👉🏿 Here are our plans: https://t.co/UCLD2KmEvm
Great to see occupational therapy and other AHPs in the spotlight in the @SeneddWales last week, when they debated a motion calling on the government to provide greater support to Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).
