@bht telcom Can someone tell our bht telecom to wake up. With such terrible service it will be difficult for us to go digital One just can’t get through to request for their assistance
Almost 5 years ago (on National Day 2020) His Majesty gifted us with two Kashos - one for the RCSC & another for the MoE.
It’s now time to reflect on what we have achieved in the last 5 years!
@thebhutanese After much complaints by customers the authorities are finally taking some action. However, the period is almost 6 years so I am wondering what the concerned authorities were doing during this period. They too need to take some responsibility for the lapses.
@business_bhutan Such loose terminology creat loop holes in our system. The criteria should be stringent. Changjiji is a residential area and no commercial activity shld be permissible.
@business_bhutan Finally - what a relief! I guess no one will be held responsible or accountable for the delay. Least we can do is to learn from it and avoid such mistakes in our future hydropower projects!
@KuenselOnline That is of course if our policy makers do utilize the statistics available to them. So far from what we have seen that doesn’t seem to be the case. We knew vaping was a health hazard much before we starting importing it but our policy makers did nothing about it
@business_bhutan@NABhutan To make it more convincing it should be agreed to implement, every amendment pertaining to MP’s thobthangs, for the next elected MPs. That way there will be No Conflict of Interest.
@BBSBhutan Looks like our Legislative Committee needs a briefing on the Reformation that took place prior to them being elected. Sad we voters hv elected candidates who ain’t aware of the Reformation. It now appears to be time to further empower our democratic process
@AchuKhegpa That is why it’s time now to step up our democracy (politicians) and our bureaucracy to the next level. Along with the GMC this is also another Royal Vision for the future of our nation.
@ACC_BHUTAN2019 Networking is definitely essential but Action is a must to ensure the progress of our Nation. Every elected govt so far hv made “zero tolerance to corruption” a priority in policy but haven’t really proved it in their Action. True work is being done but we need to work harder.
@KuenselOnline The ability to own/repay one’s car loan should be linked to one’s PIT
Also the more cars one has in one’s name the tax payable should increase
@thebhutanese Of course what RBP proposes shld be appreciated. However, it’s high time we get out of this -Reactive mode action. If our limits resources restrict our plans we shld learn to share resources. We do hv a veh that is used for high street lights repair. To save a life that cld help
The occurrence of “Conflict of Interest” in our decision making be it in policies or selection committees etc is what’s causing our society to crumble. Soon our Parliament will be discussing on their vehicle or its allowance.
Come June of each year & all our gov depts are engaged in meetings, arranged outside in another Dzongkhag, to ensure their exhaust their allocated budget for the past year. None want to explain the reason for non utilization of the budget. No one cares how the budget is utilized.
@BBSBhutan If we really cared we should be enforcing medical insurance for our citizens as that would reduce the referral out of the country burden on our RGoB
@thebhutanese For students & teachers a like de announcement added excitement to de celebrations of “Teachers Day”.
Let us hope this change will bring about some improvement in de quality of education!
@thebhutanese Having to leave de housing colony is de right thing. De main question shld be how they got allotted the apartments in de first place. Even ACC has turned a blind eye to this corrupt practice that’s been going on for quite a while now. Glad HPM is looking into it👍👏🙏
