@TaylorTwellman That Portugal team was outrageously talented. So I'd give that a slight nod, but this is the best collection of talent the U.S. has ever had and it's not particularly close.
09’ Confed Cup against Spain also in the running.
Camera angle on penalty kicks needs changed. The sideline angle is hideous. They should be directly behind the penalty spot so you can see the kick in real time. It’s like watching a field goal from the sideline cam. #womenseuros2025
This is asinine. The BCS championship game was played between the 4th and 10th…we haven’t played the National Championship game on January 1 in almost 30 years and those were conference bowl tie-ins.
This is supposed to be the pinnacle of our sport...The destination for every player, coach, and fan...yet somebody decided that playing the National Championship on a Monday night deep into the NFL playoffs was a good idea...the mismanagement of CFB has been egregious
Former Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry says he is actively trying to buy college football and basketball teams.
Lasry says certain colleges could sell a 51% stake in their teams at a $500M to $750M valuation and then use that money for NIL and facility upgrades.
Crazy times.
I *will* use Bob Costas’ play by play retirement to re-up the greatest college football open ever: Notre Dame-FSU 1993. I asked Bob about this a few years ago and he said unlike every other open he did, a producer wrote this: Bill Bonnell, now at ESPN. Thank you Bill and Bob.
we want a sunday night hbo docuseries where once a week @JasonKelce goes to a team’s tailgate and shares their culture. like anthony bourdain but for pregames.
