Spurs adding Billy Donovan is more significant than the Draft or the addition of Tobias Harris. Genius. My bet would be this move has Pop’s fingerprints all over it. Experience matters.
Just in: Free agent forward Tobias Harris has agreed to a two-year, $31 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, sources tell ESPN. Harris exits the Pistons after helping lead a franchise turnaround and now joins a young contending team in the Western Conference.
Did you realize the Spurs haven’t fired a coach or a general manager in 30 years? That kind of continuity is unthinkable in pro sports, and it’s one reason Brian Wright can take big draft swings other GMs can’t.

Becky Hammon says she’s not apologizing to Jalen Brunson
“Jalen, all he did was prove history wrong. He proves he’s an outlier, so you can put his name next to Steph Curry and Isiah Thomas, and I thought he played brilliantly, especially down the stretch. I mean, he was that 1A dude, but apologize? I’m never gonna apologize for having an opinion. That’s what ESPN pays me for.”
