@SABCNews What we are seeing is a breakdown in social consciousness, where frustration is no longer guided by understanding, but redirected into scapegoating fellow Africans instead of confronting the systems behind our shared struggles.
Frustration around unemployment, crime and weak governance is real, but turning that frustration into violence against fellow Africans is not the answer. It reflects how easily we can be turned against each other instead of focusing on the systems and failures that affect us all.
@elonmusk Apartheid stripped Black people of basic rights and dignity. What we have now is restitution, not race laws. Even after the ANC came to power in 1994, this country chose reconciliation over revenge, and no group has been stripped of rights to this day.
