For instance, a school that knowingly plays a player that admitted to gambling on NCAA sports forfeits the game and the school’s media rights for the game. Nobody said he can’t play.

@matwheatley @RossDellenger @YahooSports I’m not sure about the Big12 but under NCAA Bylaw 12.9.4,2 the NCAA can retroactively strip a team of its championships, vacate wins, mandate financial penalties (like forfeiting television/bowl payouts), and ban the university from postseason competition if they win.
