So disappointed in @united customer service. Still don’t get why my friends who booked the flight on the same day/time got refunds and I can’t. They obv care more about business than their customers. My $800 refund could feed my family for weeks.

Can hardly feed my family and @united thinks I’ll be fine and they’re doing me a courtesy by giving me travel credit to fly in the next 2 years. How can I afford to travel for pleasure when I can’t even get pleasure at home because I’m unemployed

@united how was I supposed to know at the time of booking that a global pandemic was going to hit. Explained my family’s unemployment situation and was told that they don’t care and I won’t be given a refund no matter what. #unitedair

On the phone with @united for over an hour to request refund for a trip that was canceled due to #COVID19. Friends on same flight got full refunds but was told I can’t because the flight is non refundable and that I should have read the T&C before booking.

I did and was told I can’t get a refund because my flight was operating within 2 hrs of its original dept time. Which makes so sense. And then I get a diff reason from customer service on the phone saying it’s non refundable. @united
