Demi Lovato: For me, I had a mantra: "If you're going to work me like an adult, I'm going to party like an adult." I got into bad stuff young and started self-medicating. I wish I'd stayed more focused, but I'm grateful for where I am today, even though there wasn't much time for play.

Keke Palmer: It’s real. People don't understand what we were dealing with. I found myself dating, I was 15, why was my boyfriend 20?

Demi Lovato: Why was my boyfriend 30? When I turned 30, I looked back and realized, "That's not okay."

Keke Palmer: When you reach the age of the people who were around you back then, it's almost a mental break. You realize you were being exploited. At 15, it seemed normal because I had an adult job, but looking back, it's very difficult to process.

Demi Lovato: Especially when you're told you're an "old soul" or mature for your age.
