On this July 4th, I believe it's important to remember that our national anthem asks an important QUESTION. No matter how triumphantly those final notes are sung, the question being asked is, "Does our flag still wave over 'the land of the free and the home of the brave'?"

(And to all my Republican friends - I'm sorry that so many in the leadership of your party have so corrupted what your party used to represent. We NEED a good, principle-driven, politically right-leaning party to represent us. That today's 'Republican Party' ISN'T that any more?)
