I’m really proud of myself this year. I can’t believe I started a nonprofit (@Innovoreach). I started putting this dream together so many years ago, but I didn’t think I could handle it.
God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called 🙌🏽
if you wanna be happy you literally cannot cannot cannot cannottttttt care what people think… like you have to practice that daily.. and stay grounded in that. long as you not hurting or hindering nobody do what you want & be unapologetic about it… daily.
Greatest lesson I've learned this year is you can't have one foot in your old life and one foot in your new life and expect change. You have to fully commit to the new life.
No one really tells you this, but the biggest relationship flex isn’t the vacations or the matching outfits. It’s knowing you can bring up the uncomfortable conversations without fearing they’ll walk away. That’s what emotional safety looks like. Healthy communication doesn’t create problems, it protects the relationship from them.
I used to think that holding your tongue was a sign of maturity, but I realized that a true sign of growth and maturity is being able to vocalize your feelings in an appropriate manner even if you are angry. Holding your tongue just fosters unexpressed feelings that lead to
you need a dangerous amount of confidence to escape an ordinary life cos the person who becomes successful has to believe something that everyone else doubts.
Coming to understand that for me, words can permanently change how safe a relationship feels. I believe that there are lines that should never be crossed, even in the middle of an argument.
Date someone who is genuinely curious about you. Someone who wants to know the small things: your favorite song, the stories behind your scars, the way you take your coffee, the books that changed you, the jokes that make you laugh. Attraction notices you. Real interest tries to understand you.
