Been a while.
I haven't traded in months, phone issues took me out, life happened.
But I'm not done. This week: back on my macro course, back to weekly research with my mentor.
Documenting the road back to consistency. No trades to show yet, just the rebuild.
Stay tuned♟️
What's the hardest lesson you've had to learn in trading?
Mine:
You can do everything right and still lose the trade.
Once you accept that, trading gets a lot easier.
Most people don't fail from lack of ambition. They fail from losing patience during the slow, uneventful stretch where nothing seems to be changing yet.
Asking questions like 'So person nor fit de work make I de chop?'.
Something to fall asleep thinking about. ♟️
Nowadays everybody has a trading strategy because we all know that it’s basically gambling if we don’t have one.
But the thing we fail to realize is that it’s still gambling if you do not give your strategy enough time for it to work.
It’s still gambling if you are constantly switching from one strategy to the next.
Genuine interest in people opens more doors than trying to impress them ever will.
This applies to trading relationships too - mentors, community, the people you learn from.
Are you genuinely interested in someone you're benefiting from or you're just there to remove virtue?
@BIGWINZFX Well... I forgot to mention strategy also.
Using myself as an example, my strategy requires me to wait for days for my setup to play out and days again for a trade to hit TP. I stuck with it cuz that's within my patience tolerance. That made me and intra-day trader. You grab?
@wannabechamp I stopped 'tweaking' my strategy after every loss. After realising that I am the one that's not patient enough to see the bigger and clearer picture.
