The hardest thing for me to grasp as an adult is you have to keep showing up no matter how you feel. You gotta do this sad, do it heartbroken, do it grieving, do it tired. Life doesn't care, it waits for nobody, you just have to keep going.
It’s not you I miss, but all the things we said we’d do together and never got the chance to. The places we planned to visit, the memories we promised to make, the little moments we imagined sharing, and all the versions of our future that existed only in our conversations. Sometimes I wonder what it would’ve felt like to actually live those moments with you. Maybe that’s the hardest part of letting go, not just losing someone, but grieving an entire future you once believed was going to happen. I’m not missing what we were anymore. I’m missing everything we never got to be.
Do you ever think about all the possibilities if you had met someone at a different time in your life? Maybe you would’ve loved each other better, understood each other more, or actually made it work if you had met when you were both ready. Sometimes, the connection is real, the feelings are genuine, and the person is everything you could’ve wanted, but the timing just isn’t right. And you’ll always wonder what could’ve happened if life had introduced you to each other a little earlier or a little later. It’s strange how someone can feel so right for you and still become a what if you’ll carry with you forever.
Sometimes, nothing good happens for you, because you are the good that happens to others. You may be tired, but someone needs your love, your encouragement, your protection. Even if it doesn’t come back your way. Always remember that.
@SSchmagoogal@jeremyct $18 an hour isn't $3120 a month it's $2880.. simple math.. $18 HR x 40 hours is $720 a week.. $1440 every 2 weeks.. so in reality the take home is much less than maybe $2000 if your lucky
@jeremyct $18 an hour x 40 hours is $720 a week.. before taxes is $2800 a month not $3120.. and maybe $2300 take home with nothing coming out but taxes.. with health insurance, 401K, and such that's way less.. why be misleading?
the intimacy of sleeping together, but not in a sexual way. the intimacy of feeling the warmth of their body in a cool room. their hands hugging you tightly. the intimacy of synchronized breathing. sleepy half-kisses and feeling safe.
