10 years ago today was my final lung surgery. they removed the pieces of my lung holding the last tumours. they had taken the primary tumour with my amputation. taken the tumours in the other lung a few weeks before.

the last one. cancer free when i woke up.

10 years.

5 years later not only have I graduated from McMaster, but am one of a select few in a top graduate program there.

Yet, some of those from my story just a few years ago we have lost.

The fight continues. Until no one knows that pain.
