@Arkypatriot Now I enjoy sewing quilts. You can reuse fabric, don't have to spend a lot. I just made my mom a quilt from my dad's shirts. Told my husband not to toss any flannel shirts, I want them for a quilt. I've heard that people find nice fabric at thrift stores.

@Arkypatriot I took it in high school. I finished my terry cloth rompers so quickly the teacher accused me of working on it at home even though she initialed each section of the pattern instructions. I had enough time to do a second garment so I chose a blazer. No buttons or zippers though.

@TeresaP72339599 @Arkypatriot Yes, I've seen the same thing. They sell everything for a few bucks on facebook marketplace and then expect people to buy the expensive gifts again. I've seen young people sell all the baby furniture and after the first baby.

People are struggling to survive.

@HistorianUSA1 My mom told a waitress ònce that she wanted to pay for a woman's meal anonymously. I couldn't believe my ears when the waitress told the lady her meal was free, and then proceeded to encourage her to get another meal to go and dessert. The offer was for her meal not a blank check

@WallStreetApes These graduates should not have been treated this way. What a miserable experience for them. Rain ponchos should have been available, or they should have been allowed to use an umbrella once the rain started. The spectators were in even more danger on the metal bleachers.
