@tingdan@stemlyns Love the “Jo ‘Burg Knot”! I’ve been using the same for the last few years just didn’t know it had this name! I found it here https://t.co/pVMKv6wJTH
My friends working in Vancouver have echoed this, wearing PPE for the entire shift. What do you guys think?

Asymptomatic #COVID19 is out there.
Saw a patient the other day with an unrelated acute medical issue requiring hospitalization but no respiratory/flu-like symptoms ➡️ tested positive for COVID.
Should we be wearing PPE at all times in the ED?

This clip is a call to us to be the best version of ourselves everyday. No matter how hard - and to seek to understand how we make our patients feel. Thanks for sharing this piece from a @McMasterU grad. And thank you Barbara.
@DrDavidRouse @tingdan There is some evidence showing NC @ 15L can improve ET O2 when Pre Oxygenating with NRB or BVM (if mask leak present) https://t.co/ZvOdDsZiYR. Newer article show CPAP + NC non-inferior to CPAP alone. https://t.co/UpiwBw6NY6. I say put em on during Pre Ox. Leave em on for Ap Ox.
@DrDavidRouse @tingdan Did Grand Rounds this month at SPH on Pre Ox and completely agree @tingdan Pre Ox is the most important! Ap Ox may be a useful adjunct.
