People confuse nonpartisan with nonpolitical. Vocally supporting gay and trans people, even back when it was less popular, and encouraging people to be kinder to people of different backgrounds is at the center of our political discourse today (e.g., Christian ethno-nationalism).
WATCH: “So he’s only in it for the big people. He plays like he’s in it for the little person, but he only cares about the elites. And the sooner Americans, the voting public of America, realize this, the better off the whole world will be.” - @WabKinew@realDonaldTrump
@ddale8 One caveat that I think not a lot of Americans don't know regarding dairy quotas...the US subsidizes their dairy farmers to the degree that upwards of 20% of their revenue can be based on subsidy. Canada doesn't subsidize dairy farmers and instead has this supply managed market.
Today VP Vance said Canada and China are "the two worst countries" on trade policy. That's an opinion, his right. But because Vance specifically complained about Canada's super-high dairy tariffs (which, again, only kick in above a quota), here's some interesting WTO data via @trevortombe:
96.7% of US agricultural exports to Canada are duty-free compared to...4.5% of US agricultural exports to China.

I really don't get this hatred of bike lanes. As a driver I love them because I don't have to worry about hitting a biker. As a biker I love them because I feel safer from being hit by a car. This hatred really just seems like a culture war thing, it's absurd.
Privilege isn’t always receiving something someone else didn’t. Sometimes privilege is being granted innocence of interpretation. It’s having your aggression interpreted as toughness, your defiance as humor, and your anger as passion

This right here. Sexual abuse from coaches and staff is 1000x more prevalent of a problem. Just ask @Riley_Gaines_
Her coach at Kentucky was raping her teammates while she was there…
(True story. Google it. )
The Sophie Cunningham trans-athlete “debate” has brought Riley Gaines’s political rhetoric — which is funded to manufacture victimhood — to a sport with zero trans athletes: the WNBA.
“This is a story about engagement.”
“It is the criminalization of trans people in sports.”
