@elizaorlins There's a great book called "The Mother Court" about the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The author reminisces fondly about how people used to come and watch trials about the biggest issues of the day. Made me think of that.

#NY is deciding what #VotingMachines we will vote on for the next decade or more. NY has voted w/pen & paper ballots + ballot markers for over 10 years. That system is good. Less expensive & more secure. #ExpressVoteXL will eliminate pen & paper #voting, so it's not good for NY.

NY #elections matter in the #2024elections. They flipped 6 Congressional Seats according to @BrianLehrer show. It's 1 of the main reasons that control of the House flipped in the 2022 Midterms.
