@SilverFan101 And realizing the position he's in. Gaster is above his world enough to be unable to view his friends and family as people ever again, but not above enough to escape. I think the doctor would offer him a solution on the condition that he leaves hometown alone.
@SilverFan101 This feels like it would be one of those episodes where the Doctor ends up helping the "villain" in the end. Im imagining that the TARDIS messes up somehow and puts the doctor in hometown, where he solves the conspiracy in a three part series ending with him finding Gaster-
@burnt_spaghetty I had a dream once where I was playing deltarune in a sewer-themed dark world and outside the shop area there was a glowing rainbow gaster sprite that when interacted with said 'don't ask don't tell' and then put me inside the game, like fully there.
@chalicerae The song that 'isn't new' has to be happy town, right? I can't think of what else it would be. The sound test room happens near the river as well. Maybe onion had memories from undertale and that's why Gaster sent his Goner Goon to Go Get that Guy
@edensMannequin@TheKaiden123 On PC it installs a gaster themed Linux distro over all your partitions, on Playstation it jailbreaks it into Gasterstation, and on Nintendo Switch it physically changes the color of your joycons to pink and yellow in the real life.
@bobble_hat_01 I feel like repeatedly saying 'Proceed' was a way to channel determination into allowing us to 'Do Something Crazy' instead of just dying. Like how flowey described screaming 'I don't want to die' the first time he loaded a save file in undertale.
@bobble_hat_01 I mean we kinda were there to do something. Us saying 'Proceed' over and over again was pretty much us forcing a 'But It Refused' moment, which is why it doesn't end with a death screen and instead kind of wrong warps us to a chapter that doesn't exist yet.
@edensMannequin I think it's showing that we've broken the Device in a way Gaster wasn't prepared for/didn't expect, and we've just tried to access something that doesn't exist yet. Perchance Gaster's less silly version of the dogcheck.
@TheMilkerMaker@serif0S The fact that it's right between "They'll hear the ring of heaven's call" and "they'll see the tail of hell take crawl". And the organik in that room that talks about shadows growing serpentine.
