@ShotgunSprD1 Is that why the SEC has had at least one finalist in the CWS champ series for the past 8 CWS in a row (and 16 of last 17 years)? Or why the SEC has won CWS champ for the past 6 years in a row (and 11 of last 16 years)? Maybe it’s just bc SEC has large groups of top teams annually
@64Analytics Unfortunately for literally everyone involved, this is actually what’s happening on every replay in the Jacksonville tourney in the year 2026.
@64Analytics There’s no camera operator. It’s an iPhone toggling control the picture on a 17” standard def TV sitting on a barstool next to IU’s bench. Umps are squinting every time they look at the incredibly small screen. It’s a comically bad set up. LSU is also 0-2 on challenges btw.
@AdamdotH@Pluckers The scar left in the wake of Pluckers abrupt departure from Baton Rouge will never mend, unless and until the second coming. I pray it to gods, the old and the new.
@hscheinukphoto Somerset is not where your Apple Maps screenshot depicts. It’s in Lincoln County, south of North Platte, nearly 300 miles west of downtown Omaha.
@HuntPalmer88 Foolish to put Weston Moss in list of A&M “absences” today. He pitched B2B days vs LSU just last month (26 pitches Saturday, 35 pitches Sunday). It was a meaningful series but not to level of must win of this game (for A&M). He’s their best relief arm, he will throw if they need.
@CBCJakeMck@AtlanticSun Current format is troublesome from a pitching perspective. No byes, all games start on Tuesday, double elimination throughout even at champ game. The “top” seeds on each side could have to play 7 games in 6 days if stretched full. It’s essentially 2 full regionals smashed in 1.
