NEWS: Giga Berlin keeps expanding!
Just recently we announced:
- increase of vehicle production from 5000 to 6200/week starting from July, creating 1000 new jobs
- substantial investments into our cell factory to enable 18 GWh of 4680 manufacturing capacity starting from 2027, creating 1500 new jobs.

Tesla Autopilot has been approved and legally used in Germany for years.

The driver remains responsible.
The driver must stay attentive.
The driver must be ready to take over at any moment.

The exact same principles apply to FSD (Supervised).

So the question is simple:

If Germany considers Tesla Autopilot safe enough for public roads, why is FSD (Supervised) still being held back after the Dutch RDW conducted extensive testing and concluded that it meets the required European standards?

Same rules.
Same standards.
No double standards.

Ich bin gerade über diesen Post gestolpert und musste direkt an die Giga Berlin 🇩🇪 denken.

✅ Jetzt weitere 350 Millionen USD für den Standort Deutschland!

Für mich ist Grünheide deshalb viel mehr als nur ein Tesla-Werk. Es ist ein Leuchtturm für die europäische Industrie.

Man muss Elon Musk nicht in allem zustimmen. Aber diesen Einfluss auf Industrie, Innovation und Arbeitsplätze kann man nicht ernsthaft kleinreden.
