@ChaseTheBr0 hey chase, weβve been loving the weapon showcase series (we watch one every night). One thing Iβve been wondering, how do you sound so good in all your videos? Mind sharing a window into your audio hardware/processing chain?
@CurtissKing Love that. Thank you π. Iβm looking to step up in audio quality and Iβm thinking this is the play.
Also seriously man, your video was π₯. Super well edited and engaging storytelling. Thatβs the YouTube magic right there. Nice work.
@CurtissKing Incredible video on your journey with Apollo on Windows, would you still recommend the Apogee Symphony Desktop? I'm considering but there is so little out there about it.
@JoshNissan@GenG Good luck next time. I thought your OP was beyond impressive.
Donβt doubt your setups too much, watch the vods and figure it out. I think they were much closer to solid than people are giving credit for. Lots of room to grow on this team. Good luck.
@EposVox Thank you for everything you do. I just watched your video on the Signature 12 MTK. Still like it?
I'm looking into getting one because of the flexible PC Sound Routing for Discord/Game on separate faders and playing nice with OBS with WDM for channel pairs.
Be well!
@PodcastEngineer@badass_agile Thanks for the advice and again, thanks for the podcast. I've probably listened to 10 episodes in the past week. Really digging the details.
Any thoughts on limiter per track or just one on the master?
@badass_agile and @PodcastEngineer I just listened to your episode of the Podcast Engineering Show and am overwhelmed with all the great advice. Thank you both!
@badass_agile@PodcastEngineer There has got to be a way to tame that, without sucking the life out of it. Because in that energy lies the lifeblood of our podcast. Thanks again. You guys rock.
@badass_agile@PodcastEngineer Hmm. Let me explain it like this. Most podcast advice I see on compression is how to make a casual conversation loud and listenable. To me, that is worlds different from a lively conversation that jumps all over the place where people explode with laughter and butt in with points
@JamieVernon Listening to Life in Neutral, you were starting to explain how you keep loud people contained for the podcast but the conversation moved away. Any advice for fledgling podcaster trying to control the dynamics of loud guests and laughter? Thanks for all you do on JRE.
@VinnyCaravella Thank you Vinny, I have a long way to go with Compressors. I've been using them for awhile, but I'm never totally satisfied with my setup/if I should have multiple with different purposes or if I'm overcompressing because I'm scared of the loud parts. Thanks again for all you do!
@VinnyCaravella The GB podcasts have such masterful control of super dynamic voices and it never hurts my ears while listening (even when people shout). Do you have any advice for a fledgling podcaster looking to control the unruly bouts of laughter? Thank you for all things GB!
@_janjerome The Bombcast sounds so natural and so expressive yet has such an impressively small Dynamic Range. Have any advice for a fledgling podcast editor trying to decrease Dynamic Range yet maintain audio quality? Compressors, audio chains, LU ranges, what have you?
@VB_Audio First off, thank you very much for Voicemeeter. It is incredibly helpful.
One question, I notice that when I restart my computer the VoiceMeeter Inputs and Outputs Windows 10 names are reset. Is there any way around this? Clean naming is the only thing keeping me sane.
