WR A.J. Brown on choosing No. 1 instead of 11: Wanted to respect Julian Edelman, even though he had Edelman’s blessing, and it brings him back to his roots.
Boston, we will miss you.
Gracias for making us part of you. #RedSoxNation, you are the ❤️ of that team, keep believing, you really care and that’s what pushes everyone in the @RedSox to give it all day in and day out.
With respect and love

At Sunday’s press conference, Red Sox owner John Henry was a no-show to explain the organization’s most stunning change in years.
Sure, Henry — who last spoke in a conference after the 2020 Mookie Betts trade — doesn’t owe the media anything.
But what about the players?
Several Boston Red Sox players expressed anger and confusion over the team’s decision to fire manager Alex Cora and the pregame message from chief baseball officer Craig Breslow.
@John_W_Henry you are a disgrace to the City of Boston, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the entire region of New England, and the historic sport that is major league baseball. You are a spineless coward with no respect for the sport. Sell the team. #DirtyWater
I hate when John Henry hides behind Sam Kennedy and company when the team makes franchise-altering decisions, but then when he talks he says some of the dumbest stuff you’ve ever heard so it’s a lose-lose situation.
John Henry is a soulless penny pinching billionaire piece of shit coward. Craig Breslow is an out of touch robot with no interpersonal skills. Sam Kennedy is a corporate drone who should be ashamed of himself as much as the rest. Just blow it all up and sell the team. #DirtyWater
Haven’t been online much but has anyone made the meme for when Craig Breslow got the call from ownership asking why the Red Sox are awful or can I still call dibs?
