Customer support provided no goodwill and asked for $1000 to replace. Not an influencer, can you help @m_franceschetti?

The noise around LMNT is just that. Noise.
Started with a misleading report published by person with bad incentives (her business is to publish lead reports, she uses affiliate links to monetize misleading reports.)
People, who have even less expertise and credibility in the space, amplified that misleading report.
Health influencers and opposing brands saw an opportunity to take shots at the leader in the hydration category, either for clicks or to gain marketshare.
All of it based on misinformation or terribly interpreted information, and driven by perverse incentives. Some of these folks have since came out and apologized for amplifying misleading and damaging information.
I drink LMNT every day and will continue to do so. I have deep trust in their team and their leaders. @jamestmurphy_ is extremely high character and is on a decades long mission.
There is heightened sensitivity right now around health and wellness brands, particularly those supported by influencers. Rightfully so. We should hold these brands to the highest standards, including LMNT and Create. But taking uninformed, cheap shots at brands that are trying to improve the overall industry is not the answer.
