The difference between them is that one of them is fun to see happen, and the other is actively refusing to play a game and then wondering why it isn't doing anything cool.

People don't get mad when VN studios make kinetic visual novels.

It just doesn't grade you on it because the point of the scene isn't to "win".

The whole theme of the game is lining every scene up to the music for people to vibe with, not "Yesterday's Hero will continue until you master these 50 QTEs".

I think it's fair to just assume they'd do their job.

There's not an economist out there that will tell you giving money away with no expectation of a return is a sensible idea; people do it anyways because they want to.

@Mitchell_Kidd1 @ninjacape @Jeffs1971 @tomwarren In the case of TP, we know these days that it's a GC game ported to the Wii but we didn't know that at the time, and back then the GC version was just assumed to be worse like any other old-gen cross-release. But BotW was just better in both resolution and fps on the Switch.

The graphics look great, but they look more like the drab ESO version of Cyrodiil than Oblivion.
