If indicated, benefits of IV contrast >>> CIN risk (tiny, if real)
Thanks to #JeffNewhouse for opening our minds and advocating for research with control groups!

Update on Novel Biologic Therapies for Crohn Disease and the Impact of Imaging on Clinical Decision Making | @RadioGraphics https://t.co/mt0eYi3iTD
A tour de force (with some well-illustrated figures/images) on quantitative imaging methods to standardize treatment response assessment, including emerging radiologic techniques such as contrast-enhanced US, T1 mapping at MRI, standardized stricture assessment, and velocity-encoded phase contrast imaging.
I highly recommend this as a read, even for trainees and early faculty in GI who take care of IBD patients and want to understand/work with their radiologists in ordering and interpreting the whole spectrum of imaging studies in the care of a patient with IBD, including endoscopically occult and subclinical disease, transmural healing, and treatment decision making in patients undergoing biologic therapies.
Looking forward to attending #SPR26 / #IPR26 in Boston next week with the @Bayer#Radiology Medical Affairs Team. Excited to connect with colleagues across #PedsRad, #imaginginformatics, #AI & industry to discuss the future of medical imaging in pediatric care.
